CHS First Day of School Information

School Begins on Friday, August 7th at 8:30 AM

First Day of School Information

First Day of School Instructions

Pick up your class schedule between 8:00 AM and 8:25 AM outside in front of Gym A.

You will receive a BLUE Class Schedule. Please review it carefully, as schedule changes may still occur through Thursday afternoon.

Your BLUE Class Schedule is your ticket into your First Block class.

First Block begins promptly at 8:30 AM. Attendance will be taken by your First Block teacher.

After attendance, your First Block teacher will escort your class to Gym A for our school-wide assembly.

Following the assembly, students will return to their First Block classroom to continue the remainder of the Minimum Day Bell Schedule.

AUGUST

8/5: Sophomore, Junior and Senior Schedule Fix Days starting at 9 AM

8/5: New Student and Freshman Orientation, 8 AM - 12 PM (12 PM - BBQ provided by Colfax Lions; 12 PM - 1:30 PM in Learning Commons, new students can check out their Chromebooks with Ms. Souza. PTAC and Falcon Foundation will be present to get involved with the school and Greenline store will be open for business! Time for some fresh Colfax gear!)

8/5: Freshman Schedule Fix Day 12 PM - 3 PM

8/6: New Student Parent Orientation, 5 PM - 6 PM in the CHS Theater

8/6: Night on the Green (Back to School Night), 6 PM - 8 PM in the CHS Main Quad (BBQ provided by Colfax & Meadow Vista Lion, along with Pancake Dads. PTAC and Falcon Foundation will be present to get involved with the school and Greenline store will be open for business! Time for some fresh Colfax gear!)

8/6: Fall Sports Night, 8 PM - 9 PM in the CHS Theater

8/7: First Day of School, Minimum Day

School Begins at 8:30 AM and is out at 12:55 PM.

8/13: Senior Sunrise, 6:30 AM - 8:00 AM

8/13: Picture Day!

8/14: Luau Dance, 8 PM - 10 PM in the Inner Quad
